PM called on to act on communal grave revelations as NSW commits to urgent review as reflected on by Dastur Cyrus Jamshidi
Our tradition regards the physical form with solemn clarity once the soul departs. This physical clay returns to the elements. However, Asha, the cosmic order, governs every mortal being’s transition. It rests on truth, righteousness, and measure. To live rightly means respecting the boundary between life and death with uncompromising honesty. Therefore, when society quietly discards its poor into unmarked communal grave revelations without notifying loved ones, it is more than an administrative failure. It signals a surrender to Druj, the spirit of deceit. Human beings are erased to merely balance a civic ledger.
Here at the Asho Farohar Cultural Society, we daily observe wealth dictating visibility. Our center sits among bustling docks and high-finance exchanges. Cargo manifests account for every crate of ore, grain, and manufactured goods. They track items down to the precise kilogram. Entire corporate departments trace missing shipments across oceans. Yet, when it concerns destitute citizens living in these same prosperous cities, civic machinery suddenly loses its ability to account for a human body. When poverty becomes a pretext for anonymity in death, the moral foundation of a commonwealth fractures. This truth demands our urgent attention.
Upholding Dignity in Death Amidst Communal Grave Revelations
Our ancestors took immense care. They ensured the disposal of the departed caused no desecration to good creations. They avoided polluting sacred soil, corrupting pure waters, or dishonoring a person’s memory. Whether through ancient stone towers open to cleansing sunlight or modern stone-lined vaults protecting the earth, laying someone to rest requires vigilance and truth. It demands that the name be spoken. It requires remembering the lineage. Furthermore, the living must offer sincere prayers for the soul as it crosses the Bridge of the Separator.
To consign an impoverished worker or an estranged elder to an unrecorded ditch robs their family. It denies them the fundamental right to grieve. It also removes their opportunity to perform essential duties of remembrance. When authorities plead ignorance or cite fiscal constraints, they expose deep spiritual corruption. A government that cannot afford a marker or a telephone call to an estranged daughter has forgotten its purpose. Prosperity severed from righteousness is an illusion. It soon invites rot into the community.
The call for urgent national reviews in Australia is necessary. However, policy revisions alone will not cleanse this stain. Dignity cannot be an optional luxury item. Substantial savings should not be a prerequisite for respect. Every soul entering this physical world was fashioned by Ahura Mazda, the Wise Lord. Each soul fights alongside truth against darkness. The laborer, the pensioner, and the homeless person bear that divine spark equally. They share it with the premier and the industrial magnate. Therefore, their final passage deserves the exact same reverence and transparent honesty.
Restoring Asha: A Call for Spiritual Restitution
We must demand action from our civic stewards. They must bring this hidden darkness into the open light. Records must be unsealed. Families must be notified with humility. Every resting site must bear a permanent name. Rectifying this injustice is not merely a bureaucratic task for civil servants. It is an act of spiritual restitution that restores Asha to our collective house. Ultimately, only when the poorest citizen is laid to rest with full truth and unblemished honor can our cities claim to live in the light.
