Iran hits third country this week with strike on Pakistan militants as reflected on by Dastur Cyrus Jamshidi
The Grief of Cross-border Strikes
News of sudden cross-border strikes across Balochistan reaches our docks and trading houses this morning with deep sorrow. Reports confirm that violent explosions claimed the lives of two innocent children. From the ancient fire temple at our maritime center, we tend the sacred flame of Ahura Mazda with heavy hearts. Therefore, we mourn every young life cut short by political recklessness. Violence across ancient frontiers shatters families and breeds lingering hatred.
Our Zoroastrian faith teaches that creation rests upon Asha, the supreme law of truth and righteousness. In contrast, the deceptive spirit of Druj spreads chaos, confusion, and violence throughout the earthly realm. Missiles and reckless raids do not protect national sovereignty. Instead, they unleash spiritual devastation upon vulnerable border communities. Consequently, rulers who choose wrath feed the forces of darkness and dishonor their sacred duty to protect life.
Restoring Asha Across Sacred Lands
The ancient plateau of Iran holds deep spiritual memory for our diaspora community. Furthermore, our ancestors revered those historic lands as sanctuaries of justice and wise governance. Today, however, regional powers trade explosive assaults across international lines without fear of divine accountability. Military commanders justify these sudden cross-border strikes with harsh tactical language. Yet, genuine security never blossoms from scattered shrapnel and orphaned households.
Every act of violence pollutes the holy elements of creation. Rocket fuels contaminate the fresh mountain air and poison arid watercourses. In addition, warfare ruins the sacred soil where farmers labor for honest bread. Our tradition commands us to protect the pure earth from defilement. Therefore, reckless warfare offends both the Creator and the fragile physical world.
Choosing the Path of Good Deeds
In our bustling port city, merchants from every continent gather daily to conduct honest commerce. We witness that patient negotiation preserves prosperity far better than sudden anger. True leaders must likewise govern their borders through justice and moral restraint. Thus, neighboring governments must reject retaliatory bloodshed before regional fires spread beyond control.
Zoroastrians recite the call to Humata, Hukhta, and Hvarshta: Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds. Ultimately, these three pillars must guide global affairs. We urge leaders to cease their lethal cross-border strikes immediately. Let statesmen choose constructive diplomacy and truthful engagement instead. Only the steady light of righteousness can conquer the shadow of vengeance.
